10.09.2019 – The intense closing part of the season for I.S.R. racing in ADAC GT Masters 2019 is about to kick off this coming weekend from the Hockenheimring (GER) that will be the theatre of the penultimate round of this year’s campaign.

The Czech outfit led by Igor Salaquarda will get to this appointment resolute to secure a strong result and the iconic German racetrack is certainly going to provide an exciting spectacle. I.S.R. racing’s colors will be defended, as usual, by Filip Salaquarda (CZ) and Frank Stippler (GER) in the #33 Audi R8 LMS.

The Hockenheimring is one of the most famous venues in the calendar and will see drivers challenging each other on the 4.574 meters that also stage the Formula 1 German GP. The start/finish straight is quite short and is followed by a right bend, the Nord-Kurve, before the heavy braking of the Einfahrt Parabolika, where the circuit leaves the old layout in use until 2002. The central part of the track includes another strong braking zone, the Spitzkehre, and the more driven turns 6, 7 and 8. The final part of the track is the most famous section, the Motodrome, that rejoins the pit-straight.

The program will follow the usual schedule with two free practice sessions on Friday at 11:25 and 16:55 (GMT +2). Q1 will be on Saturday at 9:00, while race one will follow in the afternoon at 14:45. Q2 will start on Sunday at 9:00 and the second race of the weekend will get green lights at 13:05.

As usual, qualifying and races will be broadcast by, the official webpage of the championship and The Facebook live feed will be available also from the team page @isrracing.

Igor Salaquarda (I.S.R. racing, Team Principal):
“We are about to go to Hockenheim, a circuit that we know quite well, for the first round of the final part of the season. Our goal is to run a linear race, possibly not spoiled by episodes, show all our potential and get an important result. We know we have a very competitive package and our drivers have a great feeling with the car, therefore the whole team will give its best to end the season on a high”.
