14.08.2018 - I.S.R. Racing will get back on track for the 2018 hottest round of ADAC GT Masters this weekend at the circuit of Zandvoort (NL).

The Czech outfit comes from a spectacular maiden win claimed two weeks ago at the Nürburgring fo&n.314;lowing an amazing performance. All is set to confirm its speed with the n.33 Audi R8 LMS driven by Filip Salaquarda (CZ) and Frank Stippler (GER).

The Dutch venue has a long motor racing tradition as it hosted all the thirty editions of the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix, back in the times when the circuit was not in the current 4.307 meters layout that features few straights and 11 often banked corners.

The long pit straight leads to a very driven first sector, while the Hugenholtzbocht corner opens the mid sector which does not feature big direction changes. The Audi chicane is the place where overtaking can happen, as at the first turn, and it proceeds two right-handers, named Kumhobocht and Arie Luyendjkbocht, that lead back on the pit straight.

The program will kick off on Friday with two free practice sessions at 13:00 and 17:15 (GMT +2). The challenge for the pole position will get underway on Saturday at 9:00, while race one will follow at 13:15. Q2 will open the racing day on Sunday, while race two will get green lights at 13:08.

Both races will be available through live streaming from the official web page of the championship www.adac-gt-masters.de and on the German TV broadcaster's website www.sport1.de.

Igor Salaquarda (I.S.R. racing, Team Principal):
"The victory at the Nürburgring is still close and the whole team is highly resoluted to repeat the extraordinary result claimed two weeks ago, but we need to stay focused. Zandvoort is a circuit on which we did not race much, and has quite a peculiar layout, compared to the other circuits on the calendar, therefore we will take it one step at a time to allow car and drivers to adapt to it at best. We will keep an eye to the weather too, as rain could shuffle the cards".
