26.09.2017 - I.S.R. racing will get on track this coming weekend in Barcelona at Montmelò for the closing round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup 2017.

The Czech outfit will line up its Audi R8 LMS n.75 for Kevin Ceccon (ITA) - who will be at the first outing with I.S.R. racing in Endurance Cup, Frank Stippler (GER) and Filip Salaquarda (CZ), with the target of closing the season with a strong result, two months after the top ten finish scored at the legendary 24 Hours of Spa.

The Circuit of Catalunya, 4.655 meters, is one of the most famous circuits on the 2017 calendar. It is a complete circuit, that is famous for its very quick sectors such as the very long straight and the wide corners leading into La Caixa. This corner marks a change in the layout of the track, that becomes more twisty and driven in the final part before leading again to the pit straight after the RACC chicane.

The program of the weekend will be compacted in two days only. Free practice will open the day of Saturday, September 30th at 9:00 (GMT +2), while pre-qualifying will take place in the afternoon at 16:40. The Sunday program will get underway with qualifying at 9:00, while the closing race of the season will get green lights at 15:00 and will keep drivers busy for three hours.

Media coverage is quite remarkable. Eurosport and Motorsport TV will cover the race live, while qualifying and race will also be available through live web streaming at http://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/live with English or French commentary.

Igor Salaquarda (I.S.R. racing, Team Principal):

"The closing race of the season is always special. We are resolute to run a strong weekend, but we know it is not going to be easy. Our rivals will also hunt for a great result to end the season on a high, therefore it is going to be crucial to work well since the first sessions to find the right balance with the car and allow our drivers to show all their potential. I am really happy that Kevin joined the team for this round. I am sure his feeling with Filip and Frank is going to be perfect and therefore we will play our cards to get the job done".
